ABOUT THE ARTIST

I currently am creating work based on the how I perceive others comfort level in everyday situations of communication. I work in many layers of material, this process helps me to have to act and make decisions in the work very quickly. My hope is that the instinctively connect to the piece almost you would a snapshot of an old family photo. It is in this layering process that I find the most joy in my work and strive to impart that to others.

My installation pieces are site specific, temporary and meant to be seen in passing. When working on site I allow the inevitable to happen in amongst the work, interruptions, mistakes, plans gone wrong, I enjoy working my way through these interruptions as we call them to help “birth ” each installation.

I hope my work gives people a sense of self awareness.
